Not what I expected
Honestly, I was disappointed with this book. I thought it would have more personal stories and insights into their lives. It felt more like a history lesson than an engaging biography. I really wanted to connect more with the women, but I just couldn't. Maybe it's just not my style.

Great stories, but a bit slow in parts
I enjoyed the book and the unique stories it shares about women in medicine, but some sections felt a bit dragged out. I was hoping for more focus on their achievements rather than the obstacles. Still, it was worth reading for the historical context!
