Die vorliegende Arbeit beschaftigt sich mit Problemen der Steuerung des durch In vestitions und/oder Raumrestriktionen beschrankten betrieblichen Gutervorrats. Ziel der Untersuchung ist es, durch Koordinierung von Beschaffungsmengen und zeitpunkten die durch derartige Beschrankungen hervorgerufenen Unwirtschaftlich keiten unter den hier gemachten Voraussetzungen vollstandig determinierter und statischer Lagerprozesse zu minimieren. Damit sollen erste theoretische Grundlagen fur eine bessere Bewaltigung dieses in der betrieblichen Praxis weitverbreiteten Pla nungsproblems geschaffen werden. Das Interesse der traditionellen Lagerhaltungstheorie gilt vorwiegend der Formu lierung kostenminimaler Bevorratungsstrategien fUr einzelne Wirtschaftsguter. Wenig Beachtung hat dagegen die insbesondere fur die betriebliche Vorratsplanung wich tige Frage gefunden, welche Ausstattung mit knappen Ressourcen erforderlich ist bzw. wie die vorhandenen Ressourcen optimal genutzt werden konnen, wenn eine Vielzahl verschiedener Guter gelagert werden mug. So ist es ublich, etwa den Lager raumbedarf durch einfache Addition der entsprechend bewerteten Beschaffungs mengen aller Lagerguter zu ermitteln und umgekehrt eine Raumrestriktion durch Beschrankung dieser Summe zu beriicksichtigen.
