In the summer of 1820, Keats published this collection, his third and final volume of poetry. A few months earlier, he had started coughing up blood; the following February, he would die of tuberculosis in Rome, aged just twentyfive. This volume contains his greatest work, written in an astonishing burst of creative genius in 1819. It includes Lamia, his tale of love and betrayal in ancient Corinth; the haunting medieval romance of The Eve of St Agnes; and his six famous odes, now considered among the most famous verse in the language.

Lovely but Arrived Damaged
I was excited to receive 'The Eve of St. Agnes,' but unfortunately, the cover had a dent when it arrived. The poetry is beautiful, but I really wish the packaging had been better. Still, I’ll keep it because the content is amazing.

A Bit Disappointed with the Size
While the content of 'The Eve of St. Agnes' is great, I was surprised by how small the pages are. It’s a nice little collection, but I expected it to be a larger format for the price. Still a decent book to have on the shelf.
