La recherche sur la motivation scolaire et les modles thoriques classiques ont volu partir de contextes dapprentissage marqus par lenseignement magistral. La prsente tude vrifie la validit de ces modles thoriques en les appliquant un contexte d'apprentissage marqu davantage par l'intgration graduelle des notions thoriques dans la pratique, par une autonomie accrue de l'tudiant et par l'apprentissage en interaction avec des pairs. Le modle de la valeur attendue de la tche de Eccles et Wigfield et le modle du systmegroupe de StArnaud ont t retenus pour mesurer les effets du travail en quipe dans lapprentissage par projets en gnie mcanique sur la motivation. Mis part de rvler un effet positif et significatif de l'APProjet sur la motivation, cette tude a permis d'approfondir et de nuancer davantage la comprhension de la motivation des tudiants universitaires apprenant en contexte innovant.
