I thought the book would be more about literary techniques, but it's mostly a narrative. Still, the French edition has some lovely prose. Just a bit disappointed since I wanted a more academic read.

Great for Language Learners
As someone who's learning French, this book is an excellent resource. It challenges me but also keeps me engaged. I love the French edition; it really immerses me in the language. Totally worth it!

Beautifully Written, But Somewhat Confusing
The storytelling in 'L'art de perdre' is beautiful, but a bit abstract for my taste. The French can be tricky, and some passages left me puzzled. It's still an enjoyable read, just not what I expected.

Pages Arrived Damaged
I was really looking forward to this book, but the pages were creased when it arrived. It feels like a shame since I wanted to keep it pristine. The content seems great, but I’m not happy with the condition it came in.
