Quant Hamid, son pre, arriv en France lt 1962 dans les camps de transit htivement mis en place, il ne parle plus de lAlgrie de son enfance. Comment faire ressurgir un pays du silence ?

I thought the book would be more about literary techniques, but it's mostly a narrative. Still, the French edition has some lovely prose. Just a bit disappointed since I wanted a more academic read.

Beautifully Written, But Somewhat Confusing
The storytelling in 'L'art de perdre' is beautiful, but a bit abstract for my taste. The French can be tricky, and some passages left me puzzled. It's still an enjoyable read, just not what I expected.
