While I enjoyed reading about Captain Cook through Ledyard's perspective, I wish the book provided more context about the times. The cover art is nice, but it felt more like a series of excerpts than a cohesive narrative. Still a decent read!

I bought this for my husband who loves history, especially exploration tales. The collection is rich with detail, and he found it fascinating. However, the print could be a bit larger; he sometimes struggles with small text.

Disappointing Quality
I was really looking forward to this book considering its subject, but mine arrived with a damaged cover. The pages were fine, but seeing the exterior like that was disappointing. I hope the next one comes in better shape!
