Ein groer Teil des umfangreichen knstlerischen Oeuvres des berhmten Architekten und Knstlers Le Corbusier (18871965) ist bis heute weitgehend unbekannt. Der Innenarchitektin und Galeristin Heidi Weber und ihrem nahezu grenzenlosen Engagement ist es zu verdanken, dass seine knstlerischen Werke berhaupt noch der ffentlichkeit zugnglich sind.In den letzten Lebensjahren von Le Corbusier hat sie dessen Gemlde und Grafiken gesammelt, ausgestellt und verkauft. Eigens fr diesen Zweck hatte ihr der Gromeister selbst das Centre Le Corbusier Museum Heidi Weber in Zrich entworfen. Eine einzigartige Sammlung seiner lbilder, Zeichnungen, Skulpturen, Mbel und Publikationen ist so unter dem Dach des letzten Bauwerkes von Le Corbusier entstanden.Bislang weitgehend unbekannt ist die Tatsache, dass Heidi Weber Le Corbusiers knstlerisches Werk in eigener Regie in sehr aufwndigen Publikationen, allerdings in kleinen Auflagen, herausgab. Diese Raritten werden von Birkhuser vertrieben. Le Corbusier Das grafische Werk/The Graphic Work prsentiert das grafische Sptwerk: Kupferstiche, RhodoidGravures eine von Le Corbusier eigens erfundene Technik und Lithografien.
