Ses investigations l'ont conduit finalement au concept de vrit historique, malheureusement tomb depuis lors dans l'oubli. Cet ensemble d'hypothses forme une thorie complexe de la temporalit, vritable htrognit diachronique, qui justifie la qualification de temps clat. Il s'agit ici de rtablir dans toute sa richesse une thorie que la psychanalyse contemporaine a progressivement tendu simplifier pour l'apprivoiser et de revenir une conception linaire et homogne du temps.
