This book is a fantastic introduction to Java. The real-world examples make the programming concepts stick. I appreciate how it breaks everything down, making it easy to understand. Definitely worth the time!

Helpful but incomplete
I found 'Learning Java' quite useful for the basics, but some sections felt a bit rushed. It does a good job introducing core concepts, but I wish it covered more advanced topics. Still, it's a solid read for new learners.

Not what I expected!
I was a little disappointed with this book. Some of the explanations were confusing and left me scratching my head. I expected better guidance on practical applications of Java. Maybe it’s just not my style?

Great starting point for Java beginners
I picked this book up for my son who is just starting to learn programming. The examples are really relatable and help him see how Java applies in real-world scenarios. He finds it easy to follow, which is a huge bonus!
