Auch in Deutschland hat Leasing als Finanzierungsalternative gegenwrtig eine beachtliche Grenordnung erreicht. Aus der betrieblichen Praxis ist diese Finanzierungsform nicht mehr wegzudenken . Unternehmen haben deswegen hufig zu entscheiden, ob eine Investition mit Kreditmitteln durchgefhrt werden soll oder ob die Finanzierung mittels Leasing gnstiger ist . Dabei sind quantitative und qualitative Argumente zu bercksichtigen . Die Analysen in dieser Arbeit beschrnken sich auf quantitative Faktoren. Im Hauptteil dieser Arbeit wird ein Entscheidungsmodell entwickelt, das die unterschiedlichen Wirkungen bei Leasing und Kreditkauf bercksichtigt. Das Modell beschreibt die quantitativen Folgen der jeweiligen Finanzierungsart beim Investor. Die Konsequenzen beim Leasing oder Kreditgeber werden in die Analyse nicht einbezogen. Der Investor soll anhand gegebener Kredit und Leasingangebote entscheiden knnen, welche Finanzierungsform fr ihn vorteilhaft ist. Es werden unter Zugrundelegung des Kapitalwertkriteriums wohldefinierte Auszahlungsbarwerte verglichen, die aus den jeweils relevanten Zahlungsstrmen abgeleitet sind. Auf dieser Basis wird dann als Entscheidungskriterium die kritische Leasingrate, bei der die Belastung zwischen Leasing und Kreditkauf gerade gleich ist, hergeleitet. Steuerliche Unterschiede zwischen Leasing und Kreditkauf werden oft als die Ursache fr die Existenz des Leasingmarkts angesehen .
