It was author John Freeman's privilege to work with people of the Middle East for over 20 years from Turkey to Iraq in the north to Oman and Yemen in the south with all the countries in between. He made many friends among the companies his firm supplied, and was able to visit Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, China and many other places. John Freeman's story tells of the people he met and the strange, comic, and bizarre incidents that happened on his travels.
