Longtime northwoods story teller and humorist Galen Winter, himself a bit of a woodsy legend, provides undeniable evidence of the existence of these fabled creatures. Northwoods artist John Boettcher, the only living person ever to have seen each of these beasts, has lived his entire life in Wisconsin's northwoods. After a 35year career as a commercial artist, he now spends his time drawing and painting scenes of his beloved North Country.
