Sie whlt diesen relativ jungen Theorieansatz, da er von weniger realittsfernen Annahmen ausgeht als die neoklassische Gleichgewichtstheorie. Sie zeigt, dass er in vielfltiger Weise auch fr praktische, betriebswirtschaftliche Fragen im Kulturbetrieb fruchtbar gemacht werden kann, da Transaktionen auf Kulturgtermrkten grundstzlich durch erhebliche Informationsasymmetrien gekennzeichnet sind. Sie greift damit eine neuartige wissenschaftliche Fragestellung auf, die als Meilenstein auf dem Weg zur Entwicklung einer Theorie des Kulturmanagements anzusehen ist. About the Author Dr. Bettina Rothrmel promovierte bei Prof. Dr. Karlheinz Whler am Institut fr Betriebswirtschaftslehre der Universitt Lneburg. Sie ist seit ber zehn Jahren in leitenden Positionen im Kultur und Medienbereich ttig. Parallel arbeitet sie als Lehrbeauftragte und Seminarleiterin, u. a. am Institut fr Kulturmanagement an der Hochschule fr Musik und Theater Hamburg.
