Product DescriptionLeo is a sea star with a bad case of wanderlust. After getting bored with sunning himself on his craggy rock, he spontaneously leaps into the ocean and catches a swift current. From sunsets at the surface to spooky creatures in the murky depths, Leo is on a roller coaster of the sea's surprises. For some time, his adventures are thrilling, but he begins to yearn for something he had all along: his family. Just in time, he meets another sea star, far from home, who also yearns for belonging. Kaia and Leo brave the current in the opposite direction and eventually arrive back at that familiar craggy rock, where Kaia finds a home and Leo settles into his role as the colony's resident storyteller.About the AuthorHeather Gonzales is a fledgling author/illustrator whose bucket list included writing, illustrating, and publishing a children's book. She is the mother of a 3 yearold who contributes to her writing and drawing with ideas that only a little one can dream up. When Heather is not working on books, she is a board certified behavior analyst who supervises interventions for children with autism spectrum disorder.
