I was hoping for more action in the plot. While the writing is lovely, I found the pacing a bit slow and some characters hard to relate to. It’s a nice book but not my favorite.

Interesting but slow at times
This book has some great moments, but I found parts of it dragged on a bit. The characters are well-developed, and the themes are deep, just a little too ponderous for my taste. Still worth a read if you're into classic literature.

Packaging issues on arrival
The book itself is fine, but it arrived with a dented cover which was disappointing. It’s a gift for my mom, and I hope she doesn’t mind. The content seems good though, so I’m hopeful!
