Rares sont les faits historiques connus, mais un conte en a t crit, le Roman des Royaumes Combattants, o apparat le nom de Long Yang, un jeune prince trs amoureux de son souverain, et qui occupe dans la littrature chinoise la place que dtient en Occident le Roman de la Table Ronde. Voici la partie manquante de cette saga historicohrocofantastique, celle de ce petit paysan devenu prince de l'Empire par la faveur de son souverain... Qui a prtendu que la vie de prince est de tout repos ? Passionn par ces petites histoires qui font l'Histoire, Olivier Merbau a t interpell par ce hros dont on ne sait rien, et n'a pas rsist l'imprieuse ncessit d'inventer ces trs authentiques mmoires imaginaires... Paru initialement sous le titre Fils de la terre, ce texte a t couronn par une Mention Spciale du Jury lors de la remise du Prix cume de Mer 2010 dcern par la Fdration de l'Ordre National du Mrite Maritime et de la Mdaille d'Honneur des Marins: une conscration des marins envers un skipper de plaisance, en quelque sorte... With the Asian usual tone reserve which actually hides an extreme mental storm, there is the autobiography of someone we can say he has changed the face of the world... at least for cookery! I hope the China's Innumerable and Eternal Gods would forgive me for my audacity...
