Ce travail consiste en une tude approfondie du, ou des symptmes langagiers, propres la structure psychotique (nologisme, registre du psittacisme, glossolalie, glossomanie, logorrhe, interprtation verbale dlirante, hallucination verbale, etc.). L'objet en est donc extrait du champ psychiatrique dont il constitue un thme classique ; en revanche, son analyse psychopathologique y sera mene l'appui des disciplines linguistique et psychanalytique. La premire partie recense, prsente et commente les phnomnes, tels qu'ils ont t reprs et classifis par la tradition psychiatrique (essentiellement les coles allemande, franaise et italienne). Vient ensuite un rappel et une confrontation des doctrines ayant rendu compte de ces phnomnes ou en ayant t suscites (Automatisme Mental en psychiatrie, Mtapsychologie freudienne, thorie du sujet, de l'objet a et de la forclusion chez Lacan). Enfin une synthse thorique tente, partir des lments issus de la clinique et des doctrines lments ordonns et articuls, de resituer le, ou les symptmes langagiers, dans l'conomie et la structure propre de la psychose.
