Product Description This book contains no new words, no magic formulas or revealed secrets. It represents an accumulation of learning covering many years of attending church, studying Gods word and communing with the Holy Spirit. I pray that some hearts may be touched, some questions answered, some puzzles made clear through my sharing of personal events and experiences. This book was written with the hope that it may be used to proclaim the love and power of God. The events described and the scriptures quoted are intended to provide comfort, understanding and peace, and the certain knowledge that God provides all lessons necessary for living a complete life with Him. About the Author After 30 years in the banking industry, rearing three daughters and serving as caregiver for elderly parents. Pat relocated to the isolation and serenity of a lake home. There urgent messages spoke in her heart and mind saying, 'Write this down. It's important.' The result was three books of daily devotionals: Lessons for Living, Strength Sufficient for the Day and Out of Darkness. Many of her short stories were published in various anthologies. Pat's work has appeared in Guideposts and The Upper Room. She received awards from Oklahoma Writers' Federation, Inc., Books N Authors N All that Jazz at Weatherford College, and Passsager, The Martin Luther King Issue, published by the University of Baltimore. She had numerous winning entries in area writing contests. Pat and P.H. (Patient Husband), and Cocoa (the Siamese), downsized to a pleasant town in North Central Texas near their children and grandchildren. Memories of stories told by her father of his pioneer ancestors began to surface coming together in Under a Comanche Moon, for young adults. Shadows of the Comanche, Second in the series, follows soon. When not writing, Pat finds satisfactions in volunteer work through her church, the local hospital and several charitable groups.
