A collection of letters by Lenin, originally published in 1917, in which he outlines the principal arguments which were especially essential for the "practical tasks" of the workingclass movement. These letters came about after a series of meetings between Bolshevik and Menshevik delegations at various consulates and conferences led to an open split between the two groups; who concluded that they must "openly"discuss their differences particularly on the unification of the Russian Social Democratic Social Party. Lenin's letters in this volume were a response to this call, and carried heavy weight in the central committee meeting of the party in Petrograd, April of 1917.
