Los dispositivos de lgica reconfigurable estn cada vez ms presentes en todos los sistemas y las FPGAs son un ejemplo. Ya no se asocia solamente el uso de stas a altas prestaciones para sistemas de alta velocidad, si no que, actualmente existe una gran variedad de familias para todas las aplicaciones, manteniendo su valor principal, como es la reconfigurabilidad y prestaciones, pero a un precio ajustado. Por ello, el presente libro consiste en el diseo e implementacin de un sistema inalmbrico de sensores basado en la tecnologa CyFi en la que se medir temperatura y humedad. Cada nodo de la red estar controlado por un PSoC (Programmable System on Chip) que, mediante un nodo central se comunicar con un servidor web. El servidor es un desarrollo basado en una FPGA Spartan 3A de Xilinx, permitiendo la conectividad a Ethernet para la monitorizacin de los sensores a travs de una pgina web. Adems, el sistema dispone de un software para la monitorizacin de dicha red.
