Et pourtant, aprs l'lection de Franois Mitterrand, il se dit que sa vie pourrait commencer. Il s'inscrit quelques mois plus tard un examen spcial pour entrer l'universit, le russit et choisit bientt, la fi n de ses tudes, dans un premier temps le Partisocialiste auquel il adhre, puis le journalisme quand il n'y adhre plus.Ses annes de jeunesse fixent jamais le caractre de JeanMichel Aphatie. On comprend mieux, en suivant son rcit, pourquoi il ne fait pas du journalisme politique comme les autres. D'o lui viennent cette simplicit, cette libert de ton et de parole.On sera surpris par ce livre o, pour la premire fois, Aphatie, aprs avoir voqu ses origines, nous livre ses interrogations, ses humeurs mais aussi et surtout ses vrits sur le monde politique qu'il observe chaque jour, sans complaisance mais avec la plus grande gourmandise.
