A funny and fascinating introduction to some of historys most interesting women, their stories and what we can learn from them. How many ordinary women have made small and big courageous decisions in their normal lives that were never recorded? Women often feel that they have to be extraordinary just to be remembered, and the pressure many women feel to succeed is immense. This book is a celebration of all womens achievements and it reminds readers that although all the women in this book did something extraordinary, they too were just ordinary women.Written in the satirical form of a selfhelp How To guide, Morton delves into the stories of women like Bobbi Gibb (How to Get Fit), Mary Seacole (How To Make It in Fashion), Judith Kerr (How to Thrive) and other women throughout history who stood up to the status quo.Ultimately, all women, regardless of what they have achieved are deserving of a place in history. And they all have something to teach us.

I was really looking forward to reading 'Life Lessons from Historical Women,' but honestly, it didn’t live up to the hype for me. The stories were interesting, but I found some of them lacking depth. I guess I was expecting more detailed accounts. Glad I borrowed it instead of buying!

Gave as a Gift, Mixed Reactions
I bought 'Life Lessons from Historical Women' as a gift for my sister who loves history. She enjoyed some stories but said a few felt rushed. It’s a good book, but I was hoping it would resonate with her more. Still, the concept is great, so I feel it has potential!

Inspiring Read for History Buffs
I picked up this book, 'Life Lessons from Historical Women,' and it’s been such an enlightening experience. Each story offers a unique perspective on resilience and strength. The writing is engaging, and I found myself reflecting on these women's lives long after putting the book down. Definitely worth the read!
