A funny and fascinating introduction to some of historys most interesting women, their stories and what we can learn from them. How many ordinary women have made small and big courageous decisions in their normal lives that were never recorded? Women often feel that they have to be extraordinary just to be remembered, and the pressure many women feel to succeed is immense. This book is a celebration of all womens achievements and it reminds readers that although all the women in this book did something extraordinary, they too were just ordinary women.Written in the satirical form of a selfhelp How To guide, Morton delves into the stories of women like Bobbi Gibb (How to Get Fit), Mary Seacole (How To Make It in Fashion), Judith Kerr (How to Thrive) and other women throughout history who stood up to the status quo.Ultimately, all women, regardless of what they have achieved are deserving of a place in history. And they all have something to teach us.

The book has some interesting stories, but I felt some of them could have gone deeper into the historical context. I was hoping for more substantial insights into these women's lives. Still, it's a decent read for a weekend if you enjoy stories of rebellion and wit.

Disappointed with the Quality
I was excited to get this book, but unfortunately, it arrived with a damaged cover and a few pages crinkled. I think the concept is great, but the physical condition really marred my experience. I expected better quality for my purchase.

Inspiring Stories for All Ages
I picked up 'Life Lessons from Historical Women' after hearing about it from a friend, and let me tell you, it's fantastic! The stories of bravery and resilience really resonate, especially the ones that connect with modern times. Perfect for book clubs or just personal reading, I think everyone should take a look at this.
