Penny Hillsdons goal is for dressage training to bring pleasure and happy partnership to both horse and rider. This is the ultimate achievementnot just the fancy movements displayed and judged in the competitive arena. This book explains how average, amateur riders can attain a satisifying relationship with the horse while proceeding happily through the dressage levels.

I found 'Light and Easy Dressage' to be a decent book, but it didn't go as in-depth as I hoped. It has good introductory content, but I felt some chapters skimmed over certain aspects too quickly. If you're looking for a more advanced guide, this may not be it. Still useful for basic info though!

Disappointed with the Content
I was really looking forward to this book, but I received it with a damaged cover, which was disappointing. Beyond that, some sections felt too brief and not as informative as I'd hoped. I had expected more comprehensive guidance for dressage training. Wouldn't purchase again.

Good for Beginners
This book is quite informative, especially for those new to dressage. I appreciate how it breaks down complex concepts into manageable bits. However, I wish there were more illustrations to visualize some techniques better. Still, it’s a solid read for anyone interested in dressage!

Helpful Guide for All Levels
I bought the 'Light and Easy Dressage' book to improve my riding skills, and it's been super helpful! The tips are practical and easy to understand, whether you're just starting out or already competing. The layout is also nice and clean, making it easy to follow along while training my horse.
