Die theorieorientierten Beitrge behandeln Aspekte wie Einfhlungsvermgen des bersetzers, bersetzen aus Minderheitensprachen, feministische bersetzung oder Untertitelung und Synchronisation. Die zweite Gruppe beinhaltet Aufstze zur bersetzung von Thomas Mann in den USA, Astrid Lindgren in Frankreich, chinesische Literatur und franzsische Chansons in deutscher bertragung. bersetzungspraktische Erfahrungen werden demonstriert an Werken von Plautus, Montaigne, Cames und an einem ungarischen Erfolgstitel.
