Operatives Schreiben versteht sich als eingreifendes Schreiben und HandeIn. Dieses Ziel ist am deutlichsten festgelegt in Benjamins Forderung, dag die ,Arbeit selbst' zu Wort kommen solle. Derartiges jedoch in einer Zeit zu for dern, in der noch keineswegs alles ,urn die Sonne der Arbeit kreist' (Marx), heigt, in dieser Zeit die Vorstadien aufzusuchen und zu pro pagieren, heigt, im Alltag die Mglichkeiten der Vernderbarkeit in Richtung des ZuWortKommenLassens der Arbeit aufzuspren, mehr noch: sie verallgemeinern zu helfen, sie allgemein zunchst vielleicht nur: bekannt zu machen. Solange operatives Arbeiten noch eine Form brgerlicher Aufklrung ist, in die Hand genommen zum Beispiel von Intellektuellen, lgt sich nicht davon absehen, dag es an der Krux aller Aufklrung teilhat: unabdingbares Prinzip der Herstellung allgemeiner Freiheit zu sein, gleichzeitig aber stets noch die gesellschaftliche StatusquoErhaltung zu betreiben und damit den real mglichen Fortschritt anzuhalten.
