Introduce clever babies to classic poets with Gibbs Smiths new Little Poet series.Avid gardener and poet Emily Dickinson collected 424 pressed flower specimens and wrote nearly 1800 poems in her lifetime, with nature and plants inspiring many of her beloved works. Lines and couplets from Dickinsons poems paired with Carme Lemniscates gorgeous illustrations bring In Emilys Garden to life, letting toddlers take a stroll in Emilys garden of verses. See the flowers, birds, butterflies, and bees through Emilys eyes, and foster a love of gardens and poems alike.

Got this Emily Dickinson book for my niece's birthday. She loves the garden theme and it introduces poetry beautifully. Only wish the pages were a little thicker, but she handles it well. Overall, a charming read!

Great for Introducing Poetry
As an educator, I find this book a fun way to introduce young ones to poetry. The theme of Emily's garden is delightful, and it really captures the whimsy of Dickinson's work. I'm using it for story time and the kids love it!

A Beautiful Introduction to Poetry
I bought the Little Poet: Emily Dickinson in Emily's Garden for my daughter, and she adores it! The illustrations are vibrant and truly capture the essence of Dickinson's poetry. It's a perfect way to spark her interest in literature!

Adorable but Not for Every Kid
The illustrations in this book are lovely, and the concept is sweet. I think it would be great for some kids, but my son didn't connect with it much. He prefers more action-oriented stories. Still, I appreciate the effort put into blending poetry with visuals.

Sweet Book but Arrived Damaged
I was excited to gift this book but it arrived with a dented cover. The content looks promising, and my daughter loves the illustrations, but I was disappointed with the condition it came in. Hoping for a replacement!
