This autobiography would not have been written except for the urging of my beloved spouse, Grace Lasser ElAyouty, and our son, Joseph ElAyouty. The title of this book was chosen by my son, Joseph ElAyouty. He borrowed it from his grandfather, Sheikh ElSayed Muhammad Hassanain ElAyouty. It was uttered to me on August 27, 1952 as I was about to board the EXCAMBION, a vessel of American Lines, sailing from Alexandria, Egypt, to New York, arriving on September 16, 1952.
