Der vorliegende Band enthlt den Text der dreistndigen Vorlesung, die Husserl unter dem Titel Logik' in Gttingen im Wintersemester 1902/03 gehalten hat. Sie fut auf der Vorlesung Logik und Erkenntnistheorie' des Winters 1901/02, der ersten von Husserl nach dem Erscheinen der Logischen Untersuchungen und nach seiner Berufung an die Universitt Gttingen neu entworfenen Vorlesung. Aus ihr hat Husserl 1902/03 eine Reihe von Blttern zur Urteilstheorie und zur Lehre von den hypothetischen Stzen und Schlssen bernommen. Die Lehre von den logischen Modalitten arbeitete er dagegen vllig neu aus. Die Bedeutung dieser Vorlesung erhellt daraus, dass Husserl fr jede seiner logischen Vorlesungen zwischen der Urteilstheorie' des Sommers 1905 und der Alten und neuen Logik' vom Winter 1908/09 auf die Logik' von 1902/03 zurckgegriffen hat. Als Ergnzung wird das Anfangsstck der Vorlesung Logik und Erkenntnistheorie' von 1901/02 verffentlicht.
