Selbst wenn im Anspruch die Bercksichtigung gesellschaftstheoretischer Anstze enthalten ist, was allemal gefordert werden mu, und dieser auch zu Teilen eingelst wird, bleiben die Projekte von dringlicher Interdisziplinaritt weit entfernt. Dies ist auch der erste selbstkritische Einwand fr die vorliegende Untersuchung. Sie ist Teil des Abschluberichts ber das Forschungsund Vermittlungsprojekt 'Arbeitsbedingungen im Gtertransportsystem ' (SuTech 56) es wurde vom Minister fr Arbeit, Gesundheit und Soziales des Landcs Nordrhein Westfalen im Rahmen des Programms 'Mensch und Technik sozial vertrgliche Technikgestaltung' gefrdert. Es hatte eine Laufzeit von zwei Jahren (E87 und 1988). ' Die Arbeit an der vorliegenden Studie wurde Anfang 1989 abgeschlossen. Ihr Gegenstandsbereich hat als 'Verkehrswissenschaft' Tradition. Seine Zuordnungen banden ihn bislang vornehmlich an wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Zusammenhnge in empirischer wie theoretischer Hinsicht. Soziologisches Interesse hat kaum ansatzweise einen Zugriff gefunden. Die technischingenieurwissenschaft1ichen Aspekte wurden aufgrund des mglichen laienhaften Nachvollzuges auf die Details der Umsetzung kam es in nationalkonomischer Sicht nicht an vernachlssigt. Das Machbare, das sich je abzeichnete, reichte aus, den wirtschaftlichen und politischen Kontext umzugestalten. Der Mensch blieb im Hintergrund, bedrohliche Konfliktlagen, die sich mit Inter essengegenstzen oder/und mangelnder Disponibilitt der Arbeitenden abzeichneten, wurden sicherheits bzw. ordnungspolitisch geregelt oder dem Markt zur wirtschaftskonformen Korrektur berlassen. Staatsund Unternehmensinteressen bildeten zumeist eine Synthese, wenngleich nicht immer folgenlos fr Teile der letztgenannten.
