Lokdev Nehru Is A Very Important Book By Ramdhari Singh Dinkar. The Closeness With Which This Book Presents Many Untouched Aspects Of Pandit NehruS Political And Personal Life Seems To Be Something Only Dinkar Could Have Achieved. Dinkar Borrowed The Term Lokdev From Vinoba, Which He Expressed During His Tribute To Nehru. Dinkar Also Believes That Panditji Was Truly The God Of The Indian People. Just As A Story About Swami Vivekananda Is Incomplete Without The Story Of Paramahamsa Ramakrishnadev, Similarly A Story About Nehru Is Incomplete Without The Story Of Gandhiji. Therefore, This Book Attempts To Explain In Detail The Relationship Between These Two Great Men And How Nehruji Appears In The Mirror Of Gandhiji. While Mentioning Stalin In The Context Of Gandhi And Nehru Seems Completely Absurd, During NehruS Lifetime, There Were Whispers That He Possessed A Slight Tendency Toward Authoritarianism. Therefore, In This Book, Readers Will Also Learn About DinkarS Critical Assessment Of Nehru. In Fact, In DinkarS Words, This Book Is A Humble Tribute To Panditji. I Never Asked Panditji For Anything For Myself, Except For The Fact That I Forced Him To Write The Preface To Four Chapters Of Culture. Panditji, Too, Never Coveted Me For A Ministerial Position. The Gist Of The Reports That Kept Coming To My Ears From Various Sources Was That He Had Been Wanting Me To Be Made A Minister Since 1953. Since I Never Confessed To Any Of His Friends, Panditji Himself Would Put My Name On The List And Then Cross It Out Himself At The End.
