Lonely Planet Best Day Hikes Japan (Hiking Guide)
⚠️ WARNING (California Proposition 65):
This product may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer,
birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
I bought this guide for my first hiking trip to Japan, and it couldn't have been easier! The best day hikes are well laid out, making it simple to choose where to go. I had an amazing time exploring!

Solid Info but Lacks Depth
The hiking guide by Lonely Planet has some solid info on the trails, but I was hoping for more detailed insight on the flora and fauna. I enjoy nature photography and wanted a bit more context. Still, it's a decent resource!

Helpful but Delivery Issues
The guide itself is great with fantastic hike suggestions, but it took longer to arrive than I expected. I was cutting it close for my trip! Just make sure you order it well in advance if you're planning a hike.

Missing Some Popular Trails
While I found this guide useful, I was disappointed that some popular trails weren't included. I expected more coverage for such a well-known brand. It's okay for casual hikers, but serious trekkers may want to look elsewhere.

Great for Planning Day Hikes!
I recently took a trip to Japan and used the Lonely Planet hiking guide for my day hikes. The maps and descriptions were super helpful, and I loved how it highlighted the best trails. I managed to hit some stunning spots thanks to this guide!
