I had high hopes for Lonely Planet's Epic Runs. While the runs are awesome, the book quality felt a bit cheap, and it arrived with a few pages bent. I expected better from such a well-known brand. Still a good read, just not what I anticipated.

Good Idea, But Lacks Some Depth
The concept behind the Lonely Planet Epic Runs of North America is great, but I found some run descriptions lacking in detail. It would be nicer to have some info about water sources or facilities along the routes. Nice starter guide, but not comprehensive enough for serious runners.
