Lonely Planet Kyoto (Travel Guide)
⚠️ WARNING (California Proposition 65):

birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
I found the Lonely Planet Kyoto guide pretty helpful overall, but I felt like some attractions were missing details. The food recommendations were spot on, though! Just wish it included more on the local culture.

Covers the Basics Well
This travel guide covers all the basics for Kyoto. I liked the sections on historical sites and temples, but some parts felt a little outdated. Still useful for first-time visitors!

Not as Detailed as I Hoped
While the Lonely Planet guide has some good tips, I found it lacking in detailed information about certain off-the-beaten-path locations. It’s decent for main attractions, but I expected more depth.

Useful but a Few Errors
I used the Lonely Planet Kyoto Travel Guide for my recent trip and it was quite useful, but I did encounter a couple of errors in the hotel listings which caused some confusion. Still, it’s a decent resource for planning your itinerary.

Great Resource for Kyoto Exploration
The Lonely Planet Kyoto Travel Guide is a must-have for anyone visiting the city. The layouts are easy to follow, and I appreciated the detailed maps and recommendations for local eateries. It really helped me navigate my trip!
