I took this Lonely Planet Mandarin Phrasebook on my recent trip to China, and it was super helpful! The phrases are really practical and easy to understand. It definitely made communicating with locals much smoother. I would say it's a must-have for anyone planning to visit!

The Lonely Planet Mandarin Phrasebook is okay, but I found the vocabulary a bit limited for more nuanced conversations. It covers the basics well, but I wish there were more phrases for specific situations. Still, it's useful for beginners!
