I found this guide to be okay for a short visit. While it covers the main attractions in Dubai, I felt it could use more in-depth info about each site. Some maps were hard to read, too. Still, it was good for getting the basics down.

Disappointed with the Content
Honestly, I was pretty let down by this Lonely Planet guide. It just didn’t have the depth I was expecting. Some of the recommendations seemed outdated, and a few places were closed. I suggest checking for other resources alongside this one if you're planning a detailed trip.

Great Guide for Quick Trips!
I just took a weekend trip to Dubai, and this Lonely Planet pocket guide was a lifesaver! It’s super compact, fit right in my bag, and had all the must-see spots. The sections on food were particularly helpful, highlighting some amazing local restaurants that I would’ve missed otherwise.
