The Lonely Planet pocket guide for Seoul is decent, but I wish it had more detailed maps. It’s easy to carry and covers a lot of places, but a couple of times I found myself wanting more information about specific neighborhoods. Overall, it's helpful for first-time visitors.

I was hoping for a lot more from this guide. The recommendations seemed outdated and I didn't find the layout very user-friendly. I expected better from a Lonely Planet product, especially since I usually love their stuff. Sadly, this one missed the mark for me.
