"Looking at History" examines the history from geologic times to the present of a ninecounty region Perry, Jackson, Orange, Crawford, Dubois, Lawrence, Monroe, Martin, and Brown. It is an area rich in cultural heritage prehistoric Indians, pioneer settlers, rural family life, folklore. "Looking at History" concentrates on the land and the natural culture of the inhabitants to produce a unique portrait of a distinctive area of our state. Included are 105 photographs, drawings, and maps.
