About the Author Kelly Hawkins is a woman who knows quite well the obstacles to finding a peaceful place in God's embraceand on her journey, has grown to understand more deeply what it is to be loved as she should have been. She has led women's ministries, mentored women, led small groups, led support groups and Bible studies, spoken at women's conferences, and has served in various ministry capacities for more than 25 years. She is on the Board of Directors for LifeCare Christian Center and serves within the ministry. Having worked in the mental health field for several years, she's been able to apply that experience and understanding, along with childhood challenges, to her spiritual understanding in order to love and serve other women. She has authored three other books, and lives in southeast Michigan with her husband and three children.
