Product Description Lowestoft Within Living Memory is a fresh new look at the towns relatively recent history. In a place once famed for its fishing fleet, shipbuilding, and coachworks, we see plethora of photographs of people going about their daily work and at play, as well as stunning images of the changing town which have not been published before. Images of the seaside and fishing fleet, the townscape, and rapid postwar development feature here, as well as the demise of local industry and above all, Lowestofts people. This is a wonderful new collection of images for locals and visitors to rekindle nostalgic memories of the past. About the Author Ian Robbwas born andgrew upin Lowestoft and is a wellknown local historian and photographer. He still lives in the town to this day.
