La nouvelle colonie est ensuite choisie comme capitale de la province de Lyonnaise et sige des services administratifs. Enfin, la runion des 60 nations gauloises, constitues en Conseil des Gaules, souligne ce rle de capitale et acclre le dveloppement de la cit.
