Divided into four sections prenatal, intrapartal, maternal, postpartal, and newborn care this book includes 50 plans of care. Each plan includes a sample client assessment database, nursing priorities, potential nursing diagnoses with 'May be related to' and 'Possibly evidenced by' statements, desired outcomes/evaluation criteria, interventions, and rationales for each intervention. The interventions are separated into independent and collaborative actions A specific assessment tool for data collection is included at the beginning of each section.
