Auch diese Arbeit wird Sie, die Leser notwendig enttuschen. Zunchst werden wir Webers Gedankengang durch seinen Vortrag hindurch folgen. Wir werden dabei nahe an der zweiten Auflage des Textes von 1926 bleiben. Anschlieend werden wir versuchen diese Gedanken auf aktuelle Tagesfragen zu beziehen. Dazu werden wir, mit Weber die Debatte um die Stammzellenforschung beleuchten. Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit wird es jedoch nicht mglich sein (weit) ber das von den Medien vermittelte Alltagswissen zu diesem Thema hinauszugehen. Ebenso wenig werden wir die Argumentationen der verschiedenen Positionen in Gnze nachvollziehen knnen. Da es sich bei dieser Ausarbeitung aber um eine soziologische Perspektive handelt, soll uns dieser Umstand nicht allzu sehr stren. Damit zur Sache!' (Weber 1926/ 1992: 5)
