Melanism: Evolution in Action describes a ubiquitous biological phenomenon, the existence of dark forms of many species of mammals, insects, and some plants. This book really sheds light on the process of melanism! I bought it to learn more for my own interest in wildlife. The case studies were super helpful and made it a good read. Definitely worth checking out!
