I really appreciated how this book tackles the stigma surrounding mental illness in our society. The practical examples and historical analysis were eye-opening. If you're involved in mental health advocacy, grab a copy!

Thought-Provoking but Dense
This book is full of valuable insights regarding mental health in America, but I found some sections a bit dense to get through. Not the easiest read if you’re looking for something light. Still, it's worth the effort for those interested in the subject.

Good Book, Slow Delivery
I found 'Mental Illness and American Society' to be quite informative, especially the parts on historical context. However, I was a bit disappointed that it took longer than expected to arrive. The book itself is great, just wish the shipping was quicker!
