Metrical Compositions for the Lovers of Soul is a 42 page journey through the journal of writer Johanna Blanche. Johanna attempts to encourage her readers through their trials with written snippets describing her upbringing, emotional conflicts as a woman and lover and her continued struggle with managing it all. She included a 20 page journal at the end to encourage her readers to write through their personal storms and joy because its not always about the pain. Johanna feels that the world is filled with many forms of negative selfexpression but shes hoping to encourage positive selfesteem and selfexpression one journal entry at a time.
