Trabajando con nios lleg al entendimiento que la mayora de ellos provenan de trasfondos multiculturales y tnicos con una gran carencia de confianza y autoestima. Con el propsito de crear un modelo con quienes pudieran ellos relacionarse positivamente cre el personaje Mexiroo. Los libros y la lnea de productos Mexiroo son los primeros de varios personajes animados por Barraza con el propsito de introducir variedad en la educacin y crear una conciencia de situaciones reales que ocurre a diario.
