The little fellow is twice rescued and earns his name "Micro Polo". Best of all, he turns out to have many personal qualities; his playful nature helps the boy improve his grandma's sad mood. The language and images are designed to entertain, catch the eye and hold the attention of children. The story offers much to learn about family love, friendship, empathy and compassion as well as a lesson or two about refraction. In brief, the series is an altogether pleasant children's picture story for edification and entertainment.
