Indeed labour migration is an important livelihood strategy in the developing countries like India. The present book, Migrant Rickshaw Pullers from Social Work Perspective: The Case of Delhi, is a soft attempt to paint a picture of the migrant rickshaw pullers and their socioeconomic, living conditions in Delhi. The objective of the study is to examine the various socioeconomic backgrounds, causes of migration of rickshaw pullers, living conditions and day to day problems and also coping mechanisms adopted by the rickshawpullers in dealing with various problems in Delhi. The book will consist of eight chapters.
