Tglich werden in Europa tausende mikrobiologische Analysen durchgefhrt, besonders zur berwachung der Qualitt von Lebensmitteln, Trinkwasser oder Badegewssern. Um Proben und Messergebnisse im gesamten europischen Raum vergleichen und austauschen zu knnen, sind einheitliche Qualittsstandards Voraussetzung. Diese wurden in verschiedenen EUProjekten erarbeitet und untersttzt von der Europischen Kommision in entsprechenden Richtlinien formuliert. Dabei wurde die EN 45001 zugrunde gelegt (nun ersetzt durch die Norm ISO/IEC 17025 "Allgemeine Anforderungen an die Kompetenz von Prf und Kalibrierlaboratorien"). Insbesonders gehren dazu: zuverlssige Referenzmaterialien, anerkannte Mess und Auswertmethoden sowie validierte Ablufe von der Probennahme bis zur Dokumentation der Ergebnisse. Mit den nun auch in Deutsch vorliegenden Anleitungen kann jedes Untersuchungslabor ein Qualittssicherungssystem implementieren.
